Small Business Support Grant

Announced a few weeks ago, many businesses are unaware of a grant that they can claim to support their businesses. The small business support grant has been put in place for small to medium size businesses, in a bid to help them overcome issues faced as a result of COVID-19.

The grant can be used for technology upgrades, equipment hire as well as hiring professional advisors. With the general acceptable categories being detailed as: Accountants, financial, human resources, IT and digital and legal. The government has provided £20m for this grant, businesses can access between £1,000 and £5,000.

This grant will be a welcome announcement for many businesses and we advise you to explore your options, should this grant not be applicable for your business there may be other schemes available to you.
