Lockdown 3.0: Business Support Portal

In order to easily collate all of the relevant information from the government throughout the 3rd Lockdown we will be regularly updating this Business Support Portal. We would also like to remind you that we remain fully operational throughout the Lockdown. Our reception team are on hand to take your call and direct you to the correct member of team. If you need any help or advice during this time please do get in touch and we will support and guide you through these unprecedented times.

Key Information

The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) has currently been extended until 30 April 2021. We are currently helping clients to furlough their staff and ensure that all claims are actioned correctly and successfully. The cap is currently set at £2,500 and is proportional to the hours not worked. We can help you to claim this support.

The Self-Employment Income Support Scheme has also been extended. Capped at £7,500, you are able to claim for loss of earnings between 1 November 2020 and 29 January 2021. Claims must be submitted on or before 29 January 2021. Our team remain available to help you submit this claim.

If you deferred VAT between 20 March and 30 June 2020 and still have payments to make, you can pay the deferred VAT in full on or before 31 March 2021 or opt in to the VAT deferral new payment scheme when it launches in 2021. We will keep all our clients updated on this new scheme when it is announced.

With the new grants announced by the Chancellor at the beginning of Lockdown 3.0, our team are helping businesses understand how much support they are entitled to. Please get in touch for further advice and help submitting your claim as and when the support becomes available.

We are helping many clients focus on ensuring their businesses make it through the 3rd Lockdown by taking over their payroll processes. If you require help with this lengthy but necessary action, please get in touch with a member of our experienced payroll team.

Coronavirus/COVID-19 Update

We are still here to help you

We have activated our plan for our team to work remotely as much as possible. The office is still open and there will always be someone on reception in normal working hours but for obvious reasons, the telephone and email are the best way to contact us as we follow the UK Government guidance to reduce contact.

If you have any direct questions about your business and the effects of the virus please get in touch with your usual contact or directly to me david@kirkhills.co.uk or adrian@kirkhills.co.uk
